It started with an idea by two guys and two airplanes along with a vision that said, “Paso Robles should have an aviation museum.”
Estrella Warbirds Museum is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of military aircraft, vehicles, and memorabilia. The museum is located at Paso Robles Municipal Airport in Paso Robles, California and named after Estrella Army Airfield. Since 1992, EWM has become one of the fastest growing non-profit museums in California that features a vast collection of military artifacts, aircraft, vehicles and memorabilia from WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, Desert Storm, and Gulf War eras.
The museum is home of Woodland Automobile Display with an exceptional collection of vintage, classic, and racing vehicles. Estrella Warbirds Museum is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of military aircraft military vehicles and memorabilia to those who flew and worked on military aircraft. Our approach, however, is not to glorify conflict but rather to make future generations aware that our way of life does not come without sacrifice.
